Isn't it great! People who are getting these benefits are willing to see them cut.

For example, I get the mortgage deduction and would be willing to see it elimated. I have paid SS taxes for 20+ years and would be willing to give up my SS is I didn't have to pay it for 20 more years.

Yes, Sue's ignorance of what she has received is always laughable... Kind of like the teabaggers with the signs that say, "Keep your government hands off my Medicare!"

Even Critics Of Safety Net Increasingly Depend On It

rofllol

...And as with all teabagger responses, it's "all about YOU", isn't it...

The flaw in that cartoon is that it implies you should be a sap and not take any deductions, and pay high marginal rates. Lower the marginal rates and many would be happy to skip the deductions and credits.

Nice try, .....Next

And once again, the cartoonist is assuming the TEA Party people screaming about their SS are everyone of them, instead of outliers. And if you were forced to be in a private pension plan and left your benefits on the table, you would be stupid. They just want what they have paid.

How do YOU know he is making that assumption about every one of them? Kind of like the cartoons that portray everyone in the OWS movement as lazy hippies that are jobless by choice?

Uh-huh... Let me know when you have something original to add....

Even critics of safety net increasingly depend on that?

Of course, because the inexperienced community organizer hired by America has totally bungled the economic recovery plan.
If the Dems had picked someone who at least understood economics, maybe we wouldn't need an expanded safety net.

Thank you for that post that has absolutely nothing to do with the topic at hand. I always know I can count on you for something irrelevant, but snarky.

Hey.. I'll go for the "every one of them" meme with the Tea Party members if we can keep the "everyone of them" for the OWS dirty hippies!

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
