Rand Paul For Republican V.P.?

Think conservative Republicans will be more likely to vote for Romney if he adds Rand Paul to the ticket?

For moderates considering voting for Romney over Obama, would having a libertarian VP make you more likely to pick Obama?

IIRC, Rand is a bit of a loose cannon, has a few skeletons in his closet, and was recently involved in a dispute with TSA at the airport. Personally I think Rubio would be a better choice than Paul. Plus VP experience for the Florida Senator Marco would set him up to run for President in 2016 or 2020.

I think Rubio will bring more votes to Romney, especially in the battleground state of Florida and other states with high Hispanic populations.

Supposedly what is starting the speculation is that Romney & Paul have not been attacking each other, so some believe a secret handshake deal is set up to get Rand higher exposure.

Replied by LOL on topic Rand Paul For Republican V.P.?
I was thinking a Romney/Gingrich ticket could work. Gingrich is smart and knows his way around Congress. Kind of like a Joe Biden but with brains.

Not sure about Rand Paul, don't know enough about him. Anything would be better than what we have now.

If you want to be, press one. If you want not to be, press 2

Who would vote for Romney after the way he answered the last debate question last night. I will say it in terms that Romney would understand. If an employee of mine ever talked that way to me or anyone, he would have been fired. That's the way it works in the business world. He was at his interview last night and essentially insulted the employers (us). No vote here. I will take Obama and his policies over someone who responds like that. And Rob Paul Kicked it....but I certainly don't want Ron and Rand together on the same ticket.

I like the Paul and Nepalitano ticket, actual change.....anyone else hear about him getting canned.

They say it could be ratings, but here is his last speach, they say could have got him fired.

I am curious if this is true, but suposidly the top contributors to Romney, Obama and others are large companies. The top three group members contributing to Ron Paul are known commonly as the Army, the Navy and the US Air Force. How do you feel about these groups vs. the largest companies in the US?

This attitude completely ignores history? You may really not like the current leadership, but to think that it could not be worse is just niave, to think that any republican would be better for conservatives is also niave.

I always wanted to buy a CO NATIVE sticker and cut out the T. Think I would get beat up?
