I really do not know what he thinks is going on over there especially now, but I am hoping he is being told this by his aides who are completely lying to him or he is in fantasy land.
Bottom line, the books were burned and for good reasons. Preventing terrorism and stopping the Taliban from accomplishing their goals are reason enough to destroy Korans that were being used to pass intelligence and attack plans instead of the peaceful religious purposes the Koran was intended to serve.
