Hey Dr Evil...500k is not a lot of money..

500K isn't much for a high flyer like you, but it would last me about 10-20 years if I continued to work.

$500K isn't too shabby for a 24 yo. Its more than I'm worth in my 50s

Awhile ago people were complaining about the number of millionaires in Congress. She is a 1/2 millionaire at 24.

And I agree about the personal finance education in H.S.

I know a class like that would have been more useful to me than Calculas.

Then you misunderstand the reason for taking Calculus in secondary school. The reason for higher math classes at the high school level is not to teach you about imaginary numbers, it is to train you to think in an abstract and critical manner and to learn how to solve problems, which, as far as I am concerned, are very useful life skills.

They don't teach any of the important things @ high school school..

How about classes like

How to keep a wife happy 101-

Thats really important in life and i've noticed that most guys don't know how to do it- and it ruins most them, finacially and sometimes even emotionaly

Me too...and I was a math minor in college because I love math. And I still think money management needs to be a required course in high school.

I agree. If that had been a required course for the last few decades, we could have prevented much of the housing crash imo.
