Its nice how you speak for all ageing women? C'mon man? Some guy in bumblef**k Colorado knows what most ageing women in New York City think? Actually I can't think of a more out of touch person on earth Fred? You live at a crossroad in the middle of nowhere, how many middle aged women do you know? You just speak for yourself, and let them speak for themselves..ok?

 Trending does not mean all of them become more conservative, just that their voting patterns tend to become more conservative. And I am looking at polling patterns, not anecdotal evidence.

Yeah, and the polling patterns as of now show that the GOP is losing the women's vote to the Dems by 18% because the right-wingers won't shut up about women's health issues, and contraception issues that were settled 50 years ago... ("It's about freedom of religion...") Bullcrap....

Really?

Obama Fares Worse Among Women after Month-Long Contraception Mandate Battle

How's the great contraception mandate battle of 2012 playing out? If you read the Washington Post's news coverage, the issue is supposedly killing Republicans among female voters. But the newest Washington Post/ABC poll tells a different story.

During the first few days of February, about a week before Obama declared a so-called "accommodation" to the contraception/abortifacient mandate, a Washington Post/ABC poll showed Obama's approval rating at 50 percent, with 46 percent of Americans disapproving.

Then, from March 7 to 10--a week into the national media firestorm surrounding Rush Limbaugh's degrading remarks about Georgetown Law student and liberal activist Sandra Fluke--Washington Post/ABC conducted another poll. It found Obama's approval rating at 46 percent, down four points from February, and his disapproval rating at 50 percent, up four points from February.

What the Left forgets is as women age, they tend to get more conservative on social issues. The hippies wanting to legalize pot, now worry about medical marijuana dispensaries near schools. The older women, who no longer worry about getting pregnant, think the current generation are sluts.
As the population ages, less people advocate for abortion rights.

Works the same way with men, now that thay can no longer be drafted, more likely to advocate for war.

let's see, I started as an independent, never a Republican, moved to Park County and signed on as a Democrat.

Less people advocate for abortion rights as they age? What a bunch of bologna! We "older" women see the need for it after observing life for so many years.

And men? Young men are avid warriors. the only "older" men who advocate war are those idiots in politics and who are military who want to move up in rank.

You are talking about anecdotal experiences of your own, I am talking about national polling. Support for abortion rights has fallen as the population ages.

So your experiences must be an abberation.

And the Washington Post and ABC was a "conservative" poll or did you not pay attention to the source of the poll? You're funny.

Aberration? Out of the thousands of people I have met with and discussed political issues? Please note that most of my acquaintances and friends are die hard Republicans, especially here in Colorado.

3.1% +/- - That's just over the percentage of acceptable validity. My statistics classes were adamant about the 3% limit.
