Democratic Ohio state Sen. Nina Turner is the third female lawmaker to introduce a bill that would limit men's access to Viagra and other erectile dysfunction drugs to make a statement about the dozens of anti-abortion bills that have passed statehouses around the country over the last year.

Turner is opposed to a proposed bill that would prohibit abortion after a fetal heartbeat is detected, which can happen as early as six weeks into a pregnancy. The Dayton Daily News reports that Turner's bill would mandate that men seeking Viagra be "tested for heart problems, receive counseling about possible side effects and receive information about 'pursuing celibacy as a viable lifestyle choice.'"

In January, Virginia state Sen. Janet Howell introduced an amendment to the state's controversial ultrasound bill, which required women seeking abortions to first undergo a vaginal ultrasound. The amendment, which failed, said that all men seeking Viagra would have to first get a rectal exam.

Earlier this month, Illinois state Rep. Kelly Cassidy introduced an amendment to another bill that would require women to get ultrasounds before being allowed to get abortions. The amendment mandated that men seeking Viagra watch a graphic video about the drug's potential side effects. "

Why are women always picking on Viagra? I never hear them mention Cialis or Levitra. It's time to rise in support of Viagra! :thumbsup:

While these legislators are making a joke out of this issue- introducing amendments that require rectal exams for viagra- Obama's poll numbers are coming down faster than Sandra Fluke's panties at a frat party.

According to 2 seperate (liberal) polls- Obama's approval numbers in the past month have fallen sharply.

The president’s approval rating was dragged down by the 30-to-44 age group, with whom his approval fell 18 percent; those making $30,000 to $50,000 a year, with whom his approval fell 16 percent; and women, with whom he fell 12 percent.

The drop in favorability among women is surprising, as most polls indicate that it’s Republicans who are facing a gender gap. The numbers indicate that neither party has emerged unscathed from last month’s fight over an administration mandate requiring faith-based groups, such as hospitals and universities, to provide birth control.

Looks like the Democrats attack on the Catholic church and the hubub over the Obama mandate requiring faith-based groups such as hospitals and universities to provide birth control may prove to be a very stupid move. You liberals may think that the country is on you're side of this issue- but the polls are telling a different story.

What the Left forgets is as women age, they tend to get more conservative on social issues. The hippies wanting to legalize pot, now worry about medical marijuana dispensaries near schools. The older women, who no longer worry about getting pregnant, think the current generation are sluts.
As the population ages, less people advocate for abortion rights.

Works the same way with men, now that thay can no longer be drafted, more likely to advocate for war.
