Just look at the sea of faces in the political conventions if you want to know which party is more open to people of color.

I suspect that says it all.

And why do you think that there is a distribution like this among the three political parties (is Independent really a party... anyway) and the various races in the United States?

Why didn't they break down Hispanic and Black by conservative and non conservative?

I'll give you a hint - it would have proven that party lines are more about ideology than race.

With that kind of attitude, these studies may be right, we'll never beat racism because the racist don't want to admit their racism and if you can't take that first step, you'll never be able to get to the next step... erasing it from the face of this planet.

Your responses is just what this research indicates you'll make. Too bad.

I read the articles with an open mind. I see their point, that our society is slanted towards whites because of our history, and that any white person within that system of government is guilty of racism simply because they exist.

I get it. I understand the point their making... and I disagree with their attempt to expand the definition of the term racism.

I know my own mind, and refuse to be labelled 'racist' when I'm not.

I also refuse to accept racism from anyone else. Cultural differences should be accepted and accounted for, but anything based simply on skin color should be shunned.
