So tell me...why would GOP whine about me using a You did it too argument (I don't think I did, but that's another thread ) but not whine about you doing it...in fact expanded on it? Never mind, I know the answer.

For the same reason the left would whine for 8 years about Bush policies but then be quiet when Obama continues them. As I said, hypocrisy is the norm around here...but you may be able to prove me wrong (I doubt it though).

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

It's annoying if you take these forums seriously (which I'm TRYING not to do anymore) I understand now that this is just a violent video game for adults. Instead of shooting each other with fake weapons on a screen, we snipe each other with our unique combination of words, videos, pictures, and funny little animations. At the end of the day, we've accomplished nothing. If it wasn't fun in some way, this would be insanity...right?

I read this post this morning and the first thing I thought of was the betrayal and embarrassment his wife and children must be going through. To me, this is not a "left" or "right" issue. There are plenty of men (and women) from both political parties that cheat on their unsuspecting (and some with full knowledge) spouses. The hurt doesn't distinguish, and is not limited to what stupid political party you are in. And - it certainly doesn't give a rats a** who you vote for. Pain is pain, pure and simple. Why does everything have to turn into a political smack down here? He was a lying, cheating, dick. Plenty of those in every party......even Independents. His 'hard on' made his 'heart off.' If you're going to go though there are certainly worse ways. Seriously though, I feel for his family.

And that is the way I feel too, when the Monica/Bill story came out, I felt sorry for Hilary, but especially Chelsea. But the Left defended the CINC by saying it is all OK, between two consenting adults, etc. I think it showed a man who couldn't control himself and was willing to hurt his daughter because of his libido.

This is the problem that I have with what you said (highlighted in blue) and generalizations like that. I have voted for both parties. What Clinton did was also a dick head move, but I don't think any President should automatically be impeached because he cheated. JFK cheated all the time! Clinton hurt his wife and daughter too and I couldn't stand that aspect of him and what he did. I'm sure "many people on the left" felt the same way. It's not a political thing in my opinion. No matter what party you are in (or none at all) you are an a** for cheating. Period.

And they probably were just supporting Bill because, he may be a goon, but he is our goon.
And while impeachment might have been a little harsh, if Monica had been a foreign agent, a honey pot trap will cause other goverment officials to lose their job because of the threat of blackmail.
