You're welcome. JSG is a self-proclaimed socialist. Lady Jazzer want Bernie Saunders to run for president in 2106, so that's a good bet that Lady Jazzer is a socialist. Most Democrats are not socialist although there is a tendency toward socialistic thinking. Are you a socialist in the firm sense of the political principle or are you just a socialist-lite?

By that British or Canadian definition*, Obamacare is not socialism. Thank you.

We will try the question again "If you truly are a socialist then you would be fully onboard with the above model. Are you?" And I don't need the literary critique as a deflection.

I guess I'm not a true socialist, then, because I'm not fully onboard with that model. Thanks for pointing that out.

Thank you for being so confused about your political ideologies. It was already apparent by the content of most of your post, but a clarification from yourself is most satisfying.

I'm a liberal TLGOPT, and that is not synonymous with socialist as you have pointed out.

Off topic. I'm out of here...

Well... I'm on a red eye tonight... headed for Europe... I'll say hi to the godless Europeans for all of you :) Probably won't get the chance to post much from there (staying in a rural location) so let's rejoice... you won't be hearing much from me for a couple of weeks. Party time. But I'll be back. I'm contracted to keep driving the conversation against the left right up until the next election, and then I'm out of a part time job. Unless Obama wins, and then I will be able to thank him for creating a new job for me. It's a win-win for everyone.

Serious question archer. From you POV is progressive synonymous with socialist? Thom Hartman who is a radio talker identifies himself as a progressive and seems to adore Sanders. He has him on every Friday.

I am not sure but I think Ed Schultz identifies himself as a progressive. I did hear him tell Sanders that he wished we had 99 more Senators just like him.
