Chicago has decided to tell the Supreme court to shove they’re decision on the 2nd amendment,
yet Arizona is being told that they can’t have a law to enforce FEDERAL LAW.
Which is it?, or is it just the way it’s done in Chicago?
And Arizona is being taken to court on this law, but other states skate with similar legislation on the books, like Colorado & California. I wonder if Colorado had a GOP gov if we would be being sued too?
Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.
If a federal law supercedes a state law, then the state can argue its case to the feds, but not expect to win. And creative wording shouldn't be overlooked. I want to know what's so hard about just enforcing the federal and insisting upon it without creating more legislation at the state level?
If it's an ammendment, then the state loses, IMO.
But yeah, times I've been there - Chicago is a lot like that.
