Do you really think he is a soulless creature doomed to fail? He seems to be pretty successful at whatever he does. And as a governor he seemed to be able to work with his legislature.jmc wrote: Mitt would be the Stepford Prez, No heart or soul. Programed to fail.

Yes he did...but that was the moderate Mitt...now we have ultra-conservative Mitt...anyone who can change their core philosophy so easily probably isn't very committed to anything. That to me is lacking a heart and soul. Being successful doesn't rule out being heartless or even being evil.FredHayek wrote:

I'd have more respect for the man if he actually believed the stuff he says, but I seriously doubt that he does. But hey, the conservatives will vote for him, the great conservative imposter. The guy is a joke...but a wealthy one.

Yea... not like our wealthy president... or all his wealthy friends that support him... like poor 99 percenter Bill Maher.

I do think he reálly wants to be president badly. But I also think he is the best available option. A man capable of bringing both parties together. Something Obama ran on but was unable to do once he became POTUS. And only the left would think a guy making a lot of money is a bad thing. Paid a lot of taxes.archer wrote: I don't believe Mitt is ultra conservative, only that he is trying very hard to convince the far right that he is.
