Prosecutors in South Bend, Ind., filed charges Monday against four St. Joseph County Democratic officials and deputies as part of a multiple-felony case involving the alleged forging of Democratic presidential primary petitions in the 2008 election, which put then-candidates Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton on the Indiana ballot.

Illinois politics in Indiana? I wonder why it took so long for these charges to be filed?

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Voter fraud doesn't exsist...move along now.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Probably because Charles White the Indiana secretary of state who is in charge of elections was convicted earlier this year of voter fraud. Oh yeah, he is a Republican. And that is pretty much the only actual instance of voter fraud in recent times.

Oh, yeah... The Indiana (REPUBLICAN) Secretary of State was convicted...How could we forget.. Well, maybe if they can throw a few things up on the wall to see if they stick, and try to deflect a bit, the voters will forget?..................Nah....

Why is this news...seriously? We've been told over and over that voter fraud does not exist and we shouldn't worry about it. I guess we should only try to prevent it when we find it instead of just making it as hard as possible to cheat in the first place.

Like it or don't, the charges have been filled and the accused parties will get their day in court. Voter fraud is still against the law but who knows what kind of legislation is being drafted by the Dems these days.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Because in this instance there was no voter fraud, except for the Republican politician. The OP mislead with the title of the thread. Photo IDs would have no effect on this particular instance since it had to do with alleged forgery on petitions to get on the ballot in the primary. It had absolutely nothing to do with fraud in voting.

I guess we will all have to wait and see if this foursome gets convicted or not. Good thing they had plenty of time to train some replacements, just in time for the 2012 election!
