I was waiting to post about this thinking that The Flume would post a story last week. They didn't, but I think it's important to bring up. Here's the 9News article:
PARK COUNTY - Investigators say a deputy is facing charges for forming an inappropriate relationship with a female inmate.
The sheriff's office, the Colorado Department of Corrections and the Inspector General's Office all investigated the incident and Keairns was fired on Jan. 25.
The Internal Affairs investigation found she had violated rules, had consorted with persons of bad character and it found she committed conduct unbecoming an officer.
The criminal investigation into Keairns finished on March 25 and an arrest warrant was put out for charges of attempting to influence a public servant, forgery and first-degree official misconduct.

I think i'm going to petition the court under the Freedom of Information Act to get a copy of the hidden camera video of the incidents before I make my final judgment on this case.....Its only fair to wait until ALL the evidence has been seen numerious times

I am absolutely amazed that the issue was addressed.
Thank you Park County Sheriff's office for addressing it and not sweeping it under the rug like you have for the idiot who has been demoted twice and is still on your payroll. How many strikes does he get? Fire him like you fired her.
