I am SO stealing this emoticon - it would've come in handy a few times before! Thanks!

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill

Your true intentions show on that last post. This was bait and nothing more. Remember, you get what you give. You may be surprised, but all you have to do is toe your own line of civility and I would bet that you will find that others posters will react to you in kind. Put posters that offer only "condescending atitudes and straight up insults" on ignore and talk politics with those who offer debate styles that you find acceptable. This my way or the highway attitude, play by my rules or I'll burn the thread to the ground attitude doesn't sound like an offer, more like a threat. That's why you aren't getting any takers. I engage the posters on here in the same manner in which they engage me. If you dont believe in the snark, don't feed into it. Period. No conditions. You'll actually find that method will yield better results for you than this play by my rules or pay the price attitude.
Believe it or not, I would find civility instead of partisanship preferable in here as well and I am not trying to antagonize you. I am having a discussion with you and you are not hearing my side of it. Instead, you are actually engaging in the type of behavior that it seems you are trying to avoid. What you are name calling condescending attitudes are really just a different points of view and you are not civilly discussing the difference of opinion, you are name calling and dismissive.
Look in the mirror, that's the only enemy you need to conquer for this.

Um, wait, did I miss something? I took it as he was totally joking since he put the tongue sticking out smiley face.
Of course, I was dead serious about the arm wrestling - I'll take all y'all on!

You should put me on ignore asap....I promise you'll thank me for it.

How did I prove your point? I simply offered a truce to anyone and you come in and lecture me. Stop trying to analyze and just accept my offer or simply ignore it.

No, I'm ASKINGpeople join me in a more adult conversation as if we were face to face instead of launching personal attacks behind a monitor. Please show the quote where I've made a demand for anyone to do anything. Good luck.
