Ho hum. Young people, especially after going to college, have been known to pull away from the right, but get with it when they see what a disaster the left is creating.

If you want true freedom and liberty, religion does not offer them. Religion offers rules, dogma and a strict code of living that are determined by someone else. That is not freedom. That's why religion and politics should not be mixed. Politics is for everyone, religion is for the individual.

If you will notice (by rereading the thread) LJ created a major deflection with her bogus post, and, whenever called on it, ignored it, threw in a profanity, and then acted as if she had never made the obfuscating post. Now she would really rather move on and try to force me into answering to her. All of this while she is trying to pose as superior. What a joke liberals are.
I said what I meant to say... And since it wasn't your OP, I still don't give a rat's patoot if you think it's relevant or not. My point was, and still is, that the GOP can no longer count on its stronghold on "religion = GOP", and people are tuning out the church in droves...particularly younger ones.
Since the thread title was "faith and politics" it's relevant. If you don't see the connection, it's neither my problem--or much of a surprise. I'm still waiting for a comment other than an insult... But you keep it up. You obviously don't have anything else to add. I could care less if you think it's a "bogus post."
My quote was my quote and I STILL don't give a sh*t whether you like it or not...
