Funny how Le Loon Jerkee calls him bad rubbish for exercising his freedom of speech right.

Wow...is this the same troll who I remember telling liberals it was unamerican to exercise their free speech and criticize the president? Now its ok for a soldier to refuse to obey the orders of the Commander In Chief (that is what this soldier said he would do). I guess patriotism changes to suit RT's bias.

I have no problems with him getting booted....just keep booting the homosexual perverts too.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

So now I wonder if he will have a big following on facebook.

bumper sticker - honk if you will pay my mortgage

I hope having a few hits on Facebook will give him comfort when he looks back on this and realizes all that he gave up...Honorable Discharge, Retirement, veterans health-care and benefits, VA Loans, GI Bill/Education... It takes a real genius to throw that all away to take a cheap-shot at the president. :VeryScared:

Sorry RT, I'm sure they will continue to defend this country and your rights in spite of your hatred of them. It's what professionals do.

Once a service member has fulfilled their enlistment or resigned their commission the CIC is fair game... What is truly unfortunate for this Marine is he will likely receive a dishonorable discharge; by the rules he agreed to he has no recourse for the penalties he will suffer for speaking his mind.

otis, do you know when it changed. In my day an O could not criticize the civilian chain of command with out repercussions but an E could. An E got in trouble when criticizing anyone in uniform senior to him.

It's certainly not the law/policy that has been struck down; i.e., "Don't Ask, Don't Tell", which no longer exists.

It is comforting to know that for homophobes that want to take out their sickness on gay people, we now have hate-crimes laws.

I'm guessing it was back in the 1980s but I will also confess I would have to do some research to get you the exact information. I seem to recall that then Secretary of the Navy Lehman rescinded the beard policy and about the same time there where a bunch of other changes to the UCMJ.
