NY needs to close Airports.

This is awful. Democrat wants to kill birds to make way for bigger jet birds. This is probably the Democratic plan when Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid run out of money too. We should make all NYC arrivals and departures leave from Philadelphia. rofllol rofllol Another shining example of how the government manages (or lack of) it's federal lands.

U.S. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand on Wednesday proposed making it easier to round up geese from a federal refuge near Kennedy Airport and kill them, an idea that's meeting opposition from wildlife advocates.

It would be nice if the waited for my plane to land... I'm 36,000 over the Atlantic headed for JFK and I don't want to go to Philly. Has Lady Jizzer been a good girl while I was away in Italy?

Will have some humorous stories to tell... Will be in about midnight tonight, so I may have to wait a few days to post... Italy was different, really different then most of the other countries I've been to... How can I say it? Bolsterous.

Just build more wind farms near the airports, those will shred up the federally protected birds in no time.

Canadian geese?? Hells bells -- there's more of them in this country than people. Why on earth are they on the protected list????

Each of these resident Canadian geese will eat 2-3 pounds of grass and deposit approximately 1-2 pounds of (potentially, disease and parasite contaminated) droppings every day. These geese become habituated to people -- live longer, begin reproducing younger and become more aggressive at nesting time than do migratory geese. The resident goose population is nearly doubling in size every five years.

Yep, that's the answer....wind farms to federal protected the big jet birds. That should wedge the greenies with the environmentalist whackos. It would be a 20 year legal case.
