I don't see a nickel's worth of difference between the two major parties. While the Democrats want to bankrupt us with entitlements and enslave us by curtailing our Constitutional rights, the Republicans want to bankrupt us with political favors to corporations and enslave us to the robber barons on Wall Street. Either way working folks like me have to pony up the cash and tighten my belt. Neither party is willing to do anything tangible to solve our economic problems.

Or we don't buy the Democrat's current platform of entitlement expansion in order to buy votes. You're voting for the exact same policies that brought down the Roman empire. Maybe the 'progressives' should pause for a minute to take a look at where that supposed progress leads.

That brought down the Roman Empire? lol Interesting comparison as I think we are a lot like the Roman Empire except that we don't reap the bounty of what we conquer. But it wasn't liberal policies that brought them down, it was the fact that they spread out too much. They over-conquered.

And voting for Governor Etch-a-Sketch would be voting for the exact same policies that nearly destroyed the country by the end of Bush's disastrous administration. Yeah, if you liked the GOP Recession before, just think--you can do it again.

So my choices are a GOP recession, or a Democratic bankruptcy?

Let's see, do I choose the frying pan or the fire?

Opinion, not fact. Some believe that World War II and the destruction of Europe's industrial base let Ameica's manufacturers dominate the world economy and lift us out.

Or made it last even longer than it should have. People who give so much of their trust to a handful of flawed people in government seem to think a healthy economy is fully reliant on government intervention. I feel just the opposite....I think there is a role for government, but it's not any good at creating anything efficient and certainly creates nothing that isn't paid for dearly by the taxpayers.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

So the problem is there aren't enough Obamavilles yet? We need unemployment to go up to 75% before Barry's policies will start to work? Wait, I KNOW!! Lets increase taxes on everyone who still has a job and spend our way out of the depression! Yea, that'll work! We can all quit our oppressive jobs that exploit us as laborers and go to work for the Civilian Conservation Corps 2.0 - working to provide for those who need for room and board on Gubment farms.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Yeah, taxing the millionaires and billionaires is a start. The fantasy that it "trickles down from the job-creators" was debunked long ago.

You're back early from the Occupy Denver Strike, they are going to spend the night on the 16th street mall. What's the matter? Accommodations not good enough for you or is it the company? Maybe you are posting from your iPad at the location?
