Interesting, if you promote the current administration then you get a free pass on hate speech; oppose the current administration? Expect to be harassed by law enforcement and detained as well as having your home invaded.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.
"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian." - Henry Ford
Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus

Considering the gentleman in the video admits that the police officers were not fully aware of the actual meaning of the word "abort" (the officer in question said the word meant "to kill") than I would suggest the the officers made a good call on this. The general public would also have a vague understanding of the word and probably assume that the sign meant to kill. Considering the current volatile nature of people and politics (IE: Occupy Movement, threats against Zimmerman etc.) and the fact that this sign could be misconstrued as a threat against the President, I think the officers were obligated to handle this the way they did.
This goes back to the old argument about what constitutes freedom of speech. We don't have freedom of all speech.
