Time to stop hoping and embrace change.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian." - Henry Ford

Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus

Exactly! And change would be NOT electing a majority of Republicans OR Democrats into office - reject the status quo.

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill

I am down with that but what is the alternative? I voted Perot in '92, I do not see a window to do the same in '12.

I agree it sucks, but there are enough differences between them that I can still walk through broken glass to see Obama go away.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

What has Obama done to improve the economy, employement is still extremely high, unless as his admin does, do not count those that no longer draw benefits or just stopped looking. There is a whole lot that is still wrong with economy, we are not near even close to being back to what can be called improvements. Also archer just so you know I do not care much for either one of them running for President.

The 200k jobs (gubment sector) have done nothing to improve the economy. But keep on believing those liberal media sites.

The only viable change I see on the horizon is the Tea Party. Yet it so terrifies the left they waste no opportunity to vilify and marginalize it.

Nice try neptune, but I didn't say anything about you, or all conservatives, or even two or more conservatives (however, if the shoe fits you are welcome to wear it). I was speaking directly to otis, who posted this:

You can blame the Tea Party for that. This was their best chance to support or offer an alternative candidate and they didn't.
