Kate, pay close attention I'm not the person talking in these video clips, I am not POTUS nor do I play him on TV.
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Old information but also pledges and promises that were made that have yet to be fulfilled. It's four plus years later, is he going to do what he promised to do or does he get a free pass because it's four years later?
P.S. - Gitmo is still open and now at the behest of Obama.

I just don't understand you conservatives, you argued that Gitmo wasn't going to be so easy to close and chastized Obama for saying it should be closed. Well he found that indeed it would be difficult to close and made the decision to keep it open, at least for now.....yet you don't like that decision either. It was a no win for Obama with Republicans, don't do what they want, they whine and complain, do what they want, they whine and complain. So...obviously this has nothing to do with Gitmo, only with you wanting to whine and complain about Obama. Believe me, we get it.
Every presidential candidate has started out with plans and objectives that he/she wants to accomplish.....their goals are how we decide if their ideology coincides with who we want running the country. Every president, once elected, gets smacked in the face with reality......there is a congress to deal with, and the Supreme Court.....there are daily changes in what is possible and what is not.....there are world and internal events that will change the landscape and alter the course of a presidency....and EVERY president has made promises that they have been unable to keep. Obama isn't the first president to be unable to fulfill all his campaign promises, and he won't be the last. I suspect, however, that if the president who fails is a Republican you will be posting something like what I have just posted. I can certainly recall all the excuses and rationalizations that followed Bush's failures. This is just the political "par for the course".
Otis, tell me something positive about your candidate and why I should vote for him, or are you going after Obama because your candidate has nothing positive to post about?

I don't know about Otis, but from what I read around the internet no one really cares what Mitt Romney stands for or will do......all they care about is that he isn't Obama. If he manages to take this country down, which is very likely, they won't care about that either....just keep Obama out of the White House at all costs.
Romney is a Republican, and while he is far too moderate for my tastes, party trumps person in my brand of politics. Republicans are more likely to draft and pass legislation that agrees with my point of view and personal preferences.
We have endured three plus years of Obama and watching the nation decline at a rate not seen since the 1930s. Stop hoping and vote for change that puts our country back on track, we need more tax payers not more taxes on the few people that still have jobs.
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

If you are hoping for change from Romney, or that he will create jobs and improve the economy (which Obama has done so far), I think you will be sorely disappointed.....but I'm quite sure you won't mind, because he has an R after his name.
I'll bet that the idea of party trumping person when voting is more prevalent among conservatives than liberals.......I have voted for several Republicans when I thought they would do a better job than the person running as a Democrat.....my country is more important than party affiliation, and always will be.
