I'm not a big fan of Sheriff Joe but I want to believe he is conducting a closely controlled, proper investigation. Wouldn't it be funny (in a really sick way) if it turns out we had a president for four years that was ineligible to hold the post?

More old news, this happened back in March and most everyone, including conservatives, did a collective "ho hum" and went on about their business. Joe is pretty well known as a media whore when it comes to making news......
The guy who headed up the "posse" was writing a book on Obama.
Just ask yourself, if the birth certificate were fake, don't you think the Republican office holders at the Dept of vital statistics in Hawaii would have said something? The documents provided by Obama were given to him by the records department in Hawaii. The officials have attested that the documents are legit.
Joe never addresses that. He only went after "forensic" investigation of the document. They never interviewed the officials in Hawaii who control the document. Some "investigation."
Some of the birthers on "posse" we so po'd about the way the investigation was handled they wrote their own book about it:

It is enough to say.....All things are NOT as they appear to be....OR as the Posse would have you believe. In the end, the Author's of this book support a REAL and SERIOUS effort by the Sheriff of Maricopa County to root out the evidence as it relates to the Obama documents and to assign a REAL Deputy Investigator to take charge of this investigation, rather than to continue to allow a self-serving Reporter and an equally self-serving lead Investigator to reap financial gain and public accolades from an effort that will end in chaos and disrepute.
