what exactly was your point? That a man should be able to tell a woman that she has to carry his child even if she doesn't want to? What if it endangers her health? What if he raped her? Who gets to choose?......It's a woman's right to choose at issue here....not a man's, not the government's, not her parents, not the Republicans, not the court of public opinion.....a WOMAN'S right to choose.

And that brings us full circle to using fetuses for commercial consumptive products. It's not human, it's simply biological material. We manufacture insulin from highly purified pancreas extracts which is infused into a humans system, and where do you get off suggesting that there is something wrong with another cultures practices. Dog meat is eaten by a number of cultures. Colorado allows the processing and sale of horse meat to humans. A fetus is just more biological material that has various uses for humans. Your attitude is not very progressive. If a woman has the right to do with a fetus what she wants. then there should be no restrictions on using that fetus for products.

All this because I said the story made me gag? If you are going to discuss a liver transplant in all it's gory details, that too would make me gag.....as do many things, there are posts on this board that make me gag and they aren't even medically related. This was my opinion of this story, you all don't have to share it.....

You're only opinion on the story is that it makes you gag? No... I have a simple question for you and let's see if you can give me an informed answer. Would you have any problem using fetuses for consumptive products as long as the consumptive product can be free of harmful pathogens? Yes I have a problem with using fetuses for human consumption, because even if it is not a viable human being, it is human tissue and that to me is cannibalism, I would feel the same about eating a human liver or any other human tissue.....what part of that is so difficult to understand?
