Cleveland Occupy had nothing to do with bridge bombers?

Update...

CLEVELAND - Dozens of members of Occupy Cleveland showed up at a Cleveland courthouse to support the five people charged in connection with an alleged plot to blow up a northeast Ohio bridge.

In all, about 50 members of the Occupy Cleveland group went into courthouse. After the arrests were made, Occupy Cleveland said the five suspects were associated with the group, but they were “in no way representing or acting on behalf of Occupy Cleveland.”

The city of Cleveland decided to not renew the group’s permit a day after the arrests, but did not say if the decision was related to the bomb plot.

All we heard across the country (and right here on 285 Bound by our resident progressives) that these 5 alleged bridge bombers... two of them, months before their arrest described in Cleveland media as leaders of the Cleveland Occupy Movement, and now with 50 Occupy members attending the arraignment to SUPPORT the 5 arrested... had nothing to do with the Occupy movement.

Right!

Judging from their mug shots, it doesn't look like they could lead the way to water, much less run an organization, but maybe they did.

No where in this current report, nor in my first posting on this incident, does anyone claim they ran the Cleveland Occupy Movement. It was said that they were "leaders." I'm not sure where you got "run" from anything you read.

But the bottom line... the left (and the progressives on 285 Bound) were trying their best to extract these 5 from any association to the Cleveland Occupy Movement in spite of information that stated otherwise. I think the past reports and this recent show of support by other members of the Cleveland Occupy Movement puts that to bed.

It's these kind of anarchists that Obama and Pelosi and the left supports. Good luck with that.

Sounds like a joke, how do you lead a group of anarchists? You don't.

One guy in a tea party crowd supposedly yells a racial slur (though never recorded) and a few signs were seen as racist early on before the masses kicked them out. The media and lefty race baters / dumbasses like Janeane Garafalo paint the entire group as racist. Now they are as silent as church mice...why not condemn the OWSrs as terrorists, unwashed hippy scum, public deficators, and rioters?...much more evidence to support that.

Oh ya, but a handful of tea partiers wore "racist" three corner hats. See any hypocrisy here?

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

I agree... you shouldn't be making blanket statements...

Soulshiner wrote: Ultra Christians murder abortion doctors, does that mean that all Christians support those actions? No, it doesn't and these stupid individuals do not represent the Occupy movement. In fact, they were anarchists that were discovered at an Occupy rally and trying to sow discontent and incite violence and no one wanted anything to do with them and told them that they only support non violent civil disobedience. The only ones they found to listen to them were the FBI undercover agents that were there looking for idiots like these.

The first step is admitting that your were wrong.

I'll give you another another chance to read what I said.
