Did you miss the discussion that the Senate DOESN'T CREATE BUDGETS...The House does... ?
The Republicans are putting out garbage that they know has no chance of passing, and it's about talking points.

Because what they want to do would make any kind of real budget impossible (even using liberal "math").RenegadeCJ wrote:

Finally, in 1975 the Democratic-controlled Senate[4] revised its cloture rule so that three-fifths of the senators sworn (usually 60 senators) [/b][/i] could limit debate, except on votes to change Senate rules, which require two-thirds to invoke cloture.[17][18] Another type of filibuster used in the Senate, the post-cloture filibuster (using points of order to consume time, since they are not counted as part of the limited time provided for debate), was eliminated as an effective delay technique by a rule change in 1979.[19][20][21]

I think Obama should hold a press conference and discuss HIS budget, and demand that congress vote for it....he was a Harvard professor right? So you would assume such a smart guy would know much more than the average shmoe in congress about budgets given his vast experience.FredHayek wrote: The Denver Post had an article on this today, Congress is more concerned with making legislation so toxic it won't be passed by either party, but the DNC & RNC can use it in campaign commercials.
Voice of Doom: "Sen. Harry Reid hasn't even permitted a vote on the budget Congress has passed. Why not, call Harry Reid now and demand that the Senate vote on the current budget."
