Romney is seeking a boring white guy for his VP. So there should be plenty from this forum to volunteer.
"And of the three, the most conscious effort by Romney’s team to do things differently will be in the vice presidential selection process. One Republican official familiar with the campaign’s thinking said it will be designed to produce a pick who is safe and, by design, unexciting — a deliberate anti-Palin. The prized pick, said this official: an “incredibly boring white guy.”
“If not [Ohio Sen. Rob] Portman , [former Minnesota Gov. Tim] Pawlenty, [Indiana Gov. Mitch] Daniels — some other incredibly boring white guy,” the official said.
I'm sure Mitt is sad that he can't clone himself, and have a "Romney/Romney" ticket. He's so self-obsessed, (and self unaware), that it would be the perfect solution.
The problem with the type of vulture capitalism that Gov. Etch-a-Sketch knows, is that it's designed to make a profit for himself and his company and do it at the expense of the employees and the workers... Just what we need as a chief executive. Someone who knows how to kill jobs, send them overseas, reduce benefits, cut costs to make a buck, and screw your workers. The Ayn Rand/sociopaths must be giddy at the thought of screwing so many people to give tax breaks to the rich...(which they think will trickle-down to them--but won't...)
Wheras all Obama knows is how to spend taxpayer money and add debt? To dismiss Mitt as only a venture capitalist is to underestimate him, he was also a governor and Olympic organizer.
But a man used to working 60-80 hour weeks is a different mindset than Obama who seems to flit from speech to campaign fundraiser to overseas trip to an afternoon of golf.
