The NBC Investigative Unit has raised questions about two grants totaling nearly $1.5 million dollars distributed to the University of California San Francisco. The money was part of the federal stimulus program and went to studies into the erectile dysfunction of overweight middle aged men and the accurate reporting of someone's sexual history.
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

So... you don't think medical research is important? Do you realize that a good percentage of our medical discoveries are made by joint projects with colleges, medical schools and medical professionals? These various research outlets are also financed by private industry in conjunction with money from the federal government. How do you propose to redesign medical research in this country. Since you don't like partly publicly funded medical research, you must have a plan.
There are far more serious problems than ED, how about letting individuals pay for the medical coverage they want and using the US Gubment's money to cure cancer instead?

Marriage is for procreation... can't have a bunch of flaccid males in those families not able to have sex. This seems like a fine pro-family-pro-biblical-pro-sexy-time project. ED is against the bible!
All I'm saying is let private industry and insurance pay for the research and produce the products. If you need boner pills don't expect the US Gubment to provide them, buy health insurance that covers that particular problem.

Toad, where in your link is the government providing boner pills? Or is that a completely separate outrage?
"Remember to always be yourself. Unless you can be batman. Then always be batman." Unknown
Link? I guess you can't comprehend a general concept; stop funding research with US Gubment money on issues that private industry has already solved. One unintentional consequence might be that some private sector jobs will be created.
No one knows what Obamacare will cover for sure because the bill was ramrodded through Congress before anyone could conduct a proper review of it. The Supreme Court will likely declare Obamacare unconstitutional so maybe we can dodge that bullet after all.
If you are really desperate for some boner pills PM me and I'll forward some of the Spam I get everyday, I guess there is a large, inexpensive supply in Canada and they will ship it to you for free if you order enough.

According to the article the $1.2 Million was spent on 200 boner interviews and created 0.85 jobs. Keep up the good work! Where can I find a part-time $1.2Million job?
