Two days ago, For the Good of Illinois added another tranche of data to our online transparency portal at openthebooks.com This installment includes every check written by the City of Chicago from FY 2002 to 2011.

Chicago politics at it's best. Makes me wonder what else will find the light of day in the next few months.

I guess this was no surprise to anyone since no one is commenting; I figured the standard group of Obama supporters would at least attempt to deflect the news and call it something it's not. Facts can be a female dog!

Ok... I'll make you happy. It's Bush's fault and President Obama has evolved on this issue (whatever that is, I didn't even look at the link)... happy?

I was actually fishing for someone to remark on the $1.00 check that someone wrote on behalf of the city of Chicago to the strip club. A buck?! Come on...
