So who cares? I just got back from a showing of the film a few minutes ago. The film skewers all sorts of stereotypes (blacks, hairy arm-pitted green liberal women, chinese, north koreans, russians, new yorkers, southerners, 9-11, sex, gay sex, women, men and so on) and tough ta-ta's to anyone who can't dredge up enough sense of humor and satire to enjoy a good ribbing. A speech at the end of the film rakes conservatives over the coals. You don't see me complaining. Death to the humorless.

Not a single place in the movie is there ANY mention of Islam or religiously motivated terrorism. The humor is strictly dealing with American politics, North African dictators, Middle Eastern dictators, North Korean dictators, Chinese communist, Russian politics, the U.N, oil politics and a multitude of racial characters types.

He picks on Jews in this movie. He is Jewish. But he doesn't pick on their religion, it's politics. If you need some analogy, he's the Mel Brooks of Britain.

Well put, take a look at Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, and History of the World. I'm not sure you could show those films in a public venue today because there are so many people who have become so over sensitive and politically correct.
