This lovely little number goes out to Lady Jazzer...

Milwaukee, Wis. – A new Marquette Law School Poll shows that with three weeks to go until the recall election Governor Scott Walker has taken a six-percentage point lead over Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, 50-44 percent, among likely voters. Just three percent say they are undecided. In the previous poll, taken April 26-29, Walker held a one-percentage point lead among likely voters, 48-47. Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch holds a 47 to 41-percentage point lead over Professional Fire Fighters of Wisconsin president Mahlon Mitchell in that recall election, with 10 percent undecided.

I love it. Time for a little "spin, spin, spin..." from the left.

There's obviously enough people in Wisconsin that still understand economics and the need for fiscal responsibility.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

The question is are they smart enough to learn from California? Even Gov. Brown seems to understand how dire their situation is. Only California and Illinois have a larger per capita debt than the Badger state.

LadyJazzer wrote: And look for Walker to be recalled in January... Wisconsin is going to be the poster-child for "How to take back your state from the right-wing fringe."

LadyJazzer wrote: and there's the survey that says that 61% of the Wisconsin electorate have "buyer's remorse" and wouldn't elect Walker again, and are sorry they did... And there's the looming Walker recall election in January....

LadyJazzer wrote: Surveys are already showing that 62% of the people that voted for Scott Walker now regret their vote, and will vote for his recall...and he didn't win by that much in the first place... So, basically he's a "dead man walking."

And yet, when the time comes near, all of this hoped for change ends up being little more than hot air and wishful thinking. The citizens of Wisconsin are seeing the benefits of the change that, however unpleasant it might be for a minority special interest group looking out primarily for themselves, is necessary and beneficial to the general welfare of the State. One can have at least some optimism that the rest of the union will see the same common sense applied at the federal level in the near future.

Off normal elections can be wild cards, I think I will wait to decide how that goes until I see the actual returns. Unions have a good history of getting their voters out. Will the TEA Party be as succesful?
