In a nutshell spend more money to stimulate the economy (dumb, dumb, dumb) and arm wrestle Germany's Merkel to do the same for Europe as evidenced by the G8 NATO summit as it affects the USA and will affect his chances for a second term.

And when consumers and businesses have stopped spending, goverment is usefulto prime the pump but as soon as those taxpayers and businesses get the goverment money, they are sitting on it.
I was reading an article that the Fed is confused. Half the Fed was expecting deflation in 2008 and the other half was expecting inflation, but neither happened. Or maybe they cancelled each other out? Obama should actually be happy neither one occured.

I don't understand the way government calculates inflation...seems like everything has gone up a little, and in the case of gas and food, quite a bit. The only thing that has gotten cheaper is housing.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
