Romney Created More Jobs as Governor Than Obama has POTUS

Eric Fehrnstrom, the senior campaign adviser to the Mitt Romney presidential campaign, credited the former Massachusetts governor with creating “well in excess of 100,000” jobs as an executive at Bain Capital, and an additional “30,000 to 40,000” in his time as governor of Massachusetts.

Obama campaign adviser David Axelrod told Andrea Mitchell on MSNBC that the line of attack was fair game.

“[President Obama] promised that if he didn’t get this economy turned around in three and a half years he’d be a one-term president,” Fehrnstrom responded. “Mitt Romney is here to collect.”

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

The king must have missed this. He was busy telling a different story today in a press conference after the NATO meet.

IN NOVEMBER 2014, WE HAVE A GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY TO CLEAN OUT THE ENTIRE HOUSE AND ONE-THIRD OF THE SENATE! DONT BLOW IT!

“When white man find land, Indians running it, no taxes, no debt, plenty buffalo, plenty beaver, clean water. Women did all the work, Medicine man free. Indian man spend all day hunting and fishing; all night having sex. Only whit man dumb enough to think he could improve system like that.” Indian Chief Two Eagles

Toad, do you know these are lies when you post them, or you just post crap anyway regardless of whether they are true.

The lie about Etch a Sketch creating 100,000 jobs at Bain has been well documented as a lie. 1) most of the alleged 100,000 jobs were created years after he left Bain, and 2) it omits the 100,000 jobs that Mitt destroyed at Bain. One example is GST Steel where Etch a Sketch invested $4 million, sucked the pensions of the workers dry, sold off asssets, and then after making $8.5 million sucking the life out of the company, left company with over $500 million in debt (while paying investors tremendous dividends) and left 750 workers without jobs or their pensions. That is how Romney acquired his millions, sucking the lifeblood out of companies and worker's pensions.

Then there is the lie about his record as governor. As governor, Romeny ranked 47th of the 50 governors on his record for unemployment of the 50 states. His "job growth" rate was .9 percent while the national average was 5 percent during that time. The only states he beat out were Michigan and Ohio (rust belt states depending on auto mfg. and Lousiana which had just suffered from Katrina.).

As for President Obama, 4.6 million jobs created in the private sector in the last 26 months.

I realize your candidate is a sham, but is it really necessary to post lies about him. Well, after seeing your candidate, it probably is necessary.

He doesn't let facts get in the way of campaign spin...

And the lies about job-creation by Romney are starting to fall apart with the general public.

Yeah, they were 37th when he took over... That's quite a record...37th to 47th... At least he finished his term, unlike half-governor Momma-Grizzley.

Here are what Republicans had to say about Romneys record as a "job creator":
[They] loot companies, leave behind broken families, broken towns." —Newt Gingrich
"It's the ultimate insult when Mitt Romney comes to South Carolina and tells you he feels your pain—because he caused it. [...] There is something inherently wrong when getting rich off failure and sticking it to someone else is how you do your business. I happen to think that is indefensible." —Rick Perry

"Governor Romney has claimed to have created over 100,000 jobs at Bain, and people are wanting to know: is there proof of that claim? And was it U.S. jobs created for United States citizens? [...] And that's fair, that's not negative campaigning." —Sarah Palin

"Governor Romney enjoys firing people." —Jon Huntsman

"While Mitt Romney was at Bain Capital, almost one out of every four companies they were involved with went bankrupt or went out of business." —John Brabender, Rick Santorum campaign manager

Big whoop. These were people campaigning against Romney, it's to be expected. Biden called Obama "first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean..." So... you agree with that statement?

Ok... let's turn the tables a bit on this. Can you or anyone else on 285 Bound tell me what the employment credentials are for Obama in regards to his knowledge or running a business? His credentials for managing money, payrolls, budgets, hiring, firing, managing employees?

Sure, in the last 3 1/2 years he has presided over one of the largest employers and economies in the world. Romney on the other hand did not run companies, but merely sucked them dry.

But even Obama admits that while jobs are coming back, they aren't coming back fast enough.

The devil you have seen fumbling around in the dark for three years versus a man who has experience in business, running a state goverment, an Olympic event, seems to be a moral man who doesn't drink, drug, fool around, etc.

So far for me, the only big advantage I can see with re-electing Obama is that he won't take several months to get settled like normal new administrations.

In the context of presidential candidates, absolutely.
