Obama Losing His Base? Washington Post

23 May 2012 12:27 #1 by FredHayek
In the latest primaries, Arkansas, Kentucky, West Virginia, Obama is losing around 40% of his supporters. Some want to blame the historic racism in the region, but maybe they are just upset with BHO's inability to get anything done.

Will this hurt him in the purple states he carried last time like Virginia and North Carolina?

Yeah, he's still ahead by 15-18% with women... (83% with women between 18-35)

He's still ahead by 67% with Hispanics...
He's still ahead by about 80% with the LGBT community...
He's still ahead with seniors (who KNOW that Ryan and his goons want to screw them on on their Medicare and SS...) by 46% to 44%
He's starting to get a HUGE number of veterans who are fed up with the unnecessary wars...(and are throwing their medals into the trash can to prove it...)
He's still WAY ahead with 86% with people-of-color..(That's N****ers for the supremacists here...)

Gosh, that seems to only leave OLD angry white-men, and Eagle Forum mothers...

Yeah, at this point, I'm pretty worried...

(And I know a bunch of angry white men who would vote Republican when hell freezes over...)

National polling which has both candidates within the margin of error would tend to refute LJ's partisan cheerleading.

Really? You want to go category by category?... And I assume "national polling" means Rasmussen?

I'll stand by my numbers...because I can PROVE 'em...

LGBT community I will give you, but what are they 5-10% of the voters? And your women polling figures are in dispute because others show more 50/50 numbers.

It's not just the LGBT community... Figure another 10-15% of the population who are friendly, who have family members who are, and for whom that is a BIG deal...

I think the teabagger/neo-nazi party is still in deep doo-doo....
