Obama Losing His Base? Washington Post

:crossed: And hopefully people who voted for him in the past will now choose to stay home. Once they found out the pig in poke they voted for just doesn't hunt, they aren't quite as ready to give him another shot.

Nah... The idea of Gov Etch-a-Sketch at the helm is frightening enough.. And since the polls show it as a WIN, (with even a possibility to take back the House from those frothing-at-the-mouth teabaggers), I think we're in good shape.

You are correct for now, the battleground states currently have Obama leading, but there are still many months for people to change their mind.

Saw an interesting poll minutes ago. If you have a landline, you are more likely to vote for Romney and a mobile only, more likely to vote for Obama.

Would seem to follow the conventional wisdom of the GOP voters being dinosaurs and set in their ways. Silver lining? Romney might be winning the senior vote, a demographic more likely to not have cell phones.

Silver lining: The current older generation of GOP dinosaurs are dying out, and within one generation will be replaced by younger voters who are fed up with the "social issues" garbage that the GOP represents...and the selfishness...and the "I've got mine--screw you" mentality.

Talk about "dinosaurs dying out"... I've seen pictures of you! Foot in grave? Rusty lining... old communists never die... they just pass on their worthless ideology to a new young batch of sacrificial sheep who will match forward with that share the wealth garbage and the "I want yours" mentality.

You could be right, but if you compare the big families of conservative religious people with the smaller or childless liberal couples, it looks like the Republicans will be gaining voters.

And a new poll said people supporting the Pro-Choice option has dropped 2% falling below 50%.
Lowest numbers since they started polling.

And Hispanics? Why are they so keen to support Barack when he has deported more illegals than "W"?

And did you figure in the even bigger families of Hispanics, (whose birthrate just exceeded the white-majority this week), and the fact that they are OVERWHELMINGLY Democrat-leaning...(because the Right is too stupid to stop attacking them?)

I'm not worried about "birthrates"... The dinosaurs are dying out...and it's about time.
