Interesting stat, not sure if it means anything.

You have a better chance of "standing your ground" against a car than a gun-nut?

My guess is that most deaths are not caused by "gun nuts", more likely by criminals or people who are not avid gun users. Maybe you could give a source for your accusation.

LJ's post read more like a question than an accusation.......but you knew that and just decided to be snarky? Yeah.....that was a question too.

Car deaths are mostly regretable accidents.

How many of the gun deaths were bad guys, how many were self-inflicted, and how many were justifiable due to small tents and beans for dinner while hunting?

Another interesting Colorado stat, more skier deaths this year than deaths from hunting. (I am betting there are more skiers than hunters in Colorado however.)

Maybe this is the reason. http://www.cdphe.state.co.us/release/2010/090710.pdf
But any so called information from the Violence Policy Center, The Brady Campaign (formerly known as Handgun Control Inc) should be researched further.

Good info. Very sad to see all the veterans committing suicide. More than have died in the wars since 9/11.

Thats because War is not like what you see in John Wayne movies Fred. Its not like what you see on M.A.S.H.. There's nothing funny or honorable about it. The military creates monsters that can't even be comfortable in their own skin.
