I'm guessing that the people who can help us the most in the future are going to remember what happened to the last guy that tipped off America to the location of the last bad guy. Getting information from the locals just got a lot harder.

America has a long tradition of abandoning our allies (South Vietnamese.) But I am hopeful that the higher ups in Pakistan will eventually let him leave the country. Congress is threatening to take away one million dollars in aid for every year of prison time he gets.
