Live Action Planned Parenthood 'Sting' Videos Are Heavily Edited (VIDEO)

The anti-abortion activist group Live Action released two videos this week of Planned Parenthood staffers discussing sex-selective abortions with actors posing as patients, but a side-by-side analysis of one of the edited videos and the original, unedited version of it shows that parts of the conversation were strategically omitted in order to implicate the family planning provider.

"Edited videos of hoax patient visits are part of a coordinated campaign over the last several years to distort Planned Parenthood’s services, mission and values," Kantor said in a statement on Wednesday.

Live Action did not respond to requests for comment.

How is it deceptive when the unedited videos were also released? Just watch the unedited version.

How is it different from 60 Minutes, other than 60 Minutes doesn't usually even release the unedited videos?

It's funny when these groups claim the videos are heavily edited and should be ignored, but they still fire their own people as a result of the videos. How crazy is that?

Exactly, they released both videos, the short, news friendly one, and the unedited one you can view in your leisure. Seems fair to me.

All the news videos and interviews you see on 60 Minutes have been edited and "gasp" they don't offer the raw footage to consumers. OMIGOD shut them down!!!!!!!

Then you admit that you know about the available unedited video. And if you watch that, you can see that it presents the same outcome as the slightly edited one (the edits amount to about 23 seconds). It wasn't an oversight. But now that you have all of it, you have nothing to snipe about. Case closed.
