A poster says he doesn't care about this theme park post I made. Fine. I'm saying there's no need to comment on stuff you don't care about. There's lots of stuff I don't care about and I, like most people, just skip over those subjects and move on to something I do care about. How hard can that be?

I think the theme park is stupid. Mexico has much bigger problems than the hardships Mexicans face while illegally crossing our countrys' border. If they want to build a park with a negative theme, they should build one around the many thousands of people who are being slaughtered by the drug cartels. Not sure who would pay to go to a negative theme park anyway.

I disagree bill. Theme parks are all about dreams and fantasy. What bigger dream is there in Mexico than to go to the USA and a pursue a better life?

I think the theme park will be popular among Mexican citizens. I presume it gives them a sense of what it is like to attempt to cross the border and get caught. It's sort of like a dry run or paintball to the extreme. It may also dissuade others from attempting it after they do a practice run.

i am surprised someone came up with the unique idea.

Given the state of the US economy this theme park should be regarded more like a museum. Remember back in the good old days when there was money to be made in the US and it was worth the risk of crossing the border illegally?

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

No matter how bad it is here, it's still better than there. There are still plenty of jobs for illegals here.

As long as Americans refuse to do the work we hire illegals for, there always will be.

Unless the government does it's job and takes down employers who hire illegals. I believe in a work program where they get a special ID that lets them work for a specified length of time. Then after a given number of years..say 5 or so, they can become citizens if they've paid their taxes and not gotten arrested.

So you are saying every Mexican wants to come to America, that there are no Mexicans who are proud of their country and want to stay and create a better life for themselves in their native country. What a negative crappy thing to assume about our neighbor to the south and her people. Talk about an elitist attitude.
