So you are saying every Mexican wants to come to America, that there are no Mexicans who are proud of their country and want to stay and create a better life for themselves in their native country. What a negative crappy thing to assume about our neighbor to the south and her people. Talk about an elitist attitude.

Nice rant...only I didn't say that.

Boy have you got that wrong, wake up and read something. Americans are not refusing to do the work, they are being undercut by illegals who will do the work for less money. It's not about picking lettuce, or grapes, or cleaning hotel rooms. Illegals are taking well paying construction and manufacturing jobs just look and the issues the meat packing industry has had with DHS. Business will always seek to lower expenses, and labor is always near the top. That old mantra of Americans refusing to do the work just won’t fly anymore.

Sounds more like you decided to interpret what I posted in a manner that allowed you to attack me. You do that a lot.

Whatever...I don't much care what you think or post. .

Archer doesn't care much what anyone posts on 285 Bound. Her last desperate debate tactic is to just claim that she doesn't care what anyone thinks... especially after she has been trying to debate with them for 8 pages of comments. :can't hear

You're absolutely right twinny, when discussion turns to snark and personal attacks I'm out.

Oh yeah?

ONEONTA, Ala. - Potato farmer Keith Smith saw most of his immigrant workers leave after Alabama's tough immigration law took effect, so he hired Americans. It hasn't worked out: Most show up late, work slower than seasoned farm hands and are ready to call it a day after lunch or by midafternoon. Some quit after a single day.

In Alabama and other parts of the country, farmers must look beyond the nation's borders for labor because many Americans simply don't want the backbreaking, low-paying jobs immigrants are willing to take.
