If you are better off than you were four years ago - why?

I've heard a few people say this to me, yet these folks have not been able to tell me why. More specifically, they cannot tell me if their lifestyles or economic situations are due to the current administration. Do you attribute your improved economic situation to Obama's policies and which policies have directly helped you?

I can honestly say that the because of the possible implementation of "The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act," I've seen the health care industry ramp up in a number of areas, which in turn, since one of my programming skills is in the health care industry, I've managed to find decent work again programming for a company that deals with insurance billing information.

What has Obama's policies done for YOU!

rofllol  :rofl

I always laugh when people talk about this question. My life is what I make it and I'll be damned if I am going to sit around and wait for some "administration" to make it better for me. Pathetic.

Then it was a pretty pathetic question, wasn't it...

But since not everyone is self-employed, (and in most cases, by choice), circumstances can change...

I'm better off...about 10% more this year, and thanks to the Payroll tax cuts I get to keep more of it. Must drive the Righties nuts because it doesn't fit their pre-conceived profile...

And your 10% increase will evaporate when the taxes go up in 2013..about the same time the economy crashes...again.

As for being better off, no changes here other than my house and money being worth much less.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Its just a stupid selfish question. My question would be is the country as a "whole" better off, freedoms and the constitution respected, business and economy strong and growing, the future promising? NO, NO, NO and NO

But previous nominees have asked that question like Reagan, so it is fair. Personally I am doing better income wise, but not as well with costs of living. Health insurance has become much more expensive due to requirements like having to insure adults under 26.

You DO realize parents don't HAVE to insure their children under 26 and pay their premiums, right? On the other hand, that group uses health insurance less than any other group (fewer claims) and so the insurance companies actually make more money off them because they're healthier.

Health insurance was going up as much as 30%/year long before the ACA was passed.....but I'm sure somehow, someway, that was Obama's fault too. Amazing the power he had when he was just a senator.

I think he also tanked the housing market and caused the banks to fail, then there is Europe.....Obama personally made their economies tank, and wait....didn't Obama also convince Americans not to buy from Ford, GM and Chrysler?.....I'm sure he must have. The man is amazing!!!!
