I will miss the old coot, I didn't often agree with him, but I liked his Salida perspective and I think he was a free thinker as opposed to many columnists who just write on talking points.

RIP Ed.

I liked his sense of humor and his historical essays. I'll miss him on Sundays.

He was a former small town newspaper editor who knew a lot about Colorado history. He was an old school labor lefty but original thinker.

Is it too late to switch Denver Post guest columnists?

I loved his columns... and rarely agreed with him, but he was a clever writer with a good sense of humor.
