I knew this election in Wisconsin was going to involve a lot of money, but I was surprised to hear on the news that Governor Walker has outspent his Democratic opponent 7 to 1. I guess the GOP really is running a bit scared if they have to pump that much money into one state to assure that the sitting governor retains his job.

Yes, as of this morning, Walker has $27 MILLION more to spend on hit-ads than the Dems do... (All the while complaining about "outside money" flowing into the state...You can't make this stuff up...)

Spin control. Starting early aren't you. What are you trying to say? When the Wisconsin voter goes into the voting booth, do they have a 100 dollar bill in their hand? Are they stupid, uneducated, don't understand the issues. You and Lady Jazzer don't respect sh*t.

I think I remember Lady Jazzer mentioning she donated to the effort in Wisconsin. Did you? Hypocrites.

I doubt campaigns would spend money on campaign ads if they didn't have a pretty strong indication that they work. If a million dollars worth of ads is good.....then 7 million dollars worth of ads is better? Why else would they do it????

You are assuming that the voters are not voting based on what Walker has done, but because they are just mindless robots who vote based on political ads.

If Obama wins, will that be because he's been such a good president or because he put out more negative Romney ads?

And where was Obama? Why didn't he and the DNC do more to help in WI ? I believe they knew this was a loser early on and didn't want the loss to stick to the Nov. election.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

I believe they think the national election and the senate and house elections are more important to this nation than who is governor of Wisconsin and chose to put their resources there. Yes this election has been hyped by both sides as some sort of referendum for the nation, but in the whole scheme of an election year it will probably be just a footnote by November.

You could say it is all about the Republicans outpending, but you could also say it s all about the Republicans winning the fundraising battle. And consider this, the Dems had a costly primary they had to spend money on so used up a lot of money before they even started the Walker campaign.

Here's a good article on why Wisconsin matters for all of us.....
On Tuesday we’re all from Wisconsin.

A lot hinges on whether Wisconsin voters decide to keep Gov. Scott Walker, or put a Democrat in his place who’s heavily backed by public-sector unions, who’ve been fighting a bitter 18-month battle with Walker. What’s happening in Wisconsin is really a battle for everyone’s future -- and whether government employees are our servants or our masters.

Wisconsin was the first state to allow public sector unions back in 1959. Wisconsin residents never have been instinctive foes of big government -- that is, until big government began to drain them dry.
