I agree $ does not equal a win, just the best ads do influence. If ads didn't work billions would not be spent. I am not for limiting ads for candidates, just disclose who has paid for them, why not.
Good. So you agree... the recall election in Wisconsin was not bought by Walker and his supporters?
I was against the recall, waste of $ and effort. He won, the voters got what they voted for. Live with it, would have been my message to the the Dems.
The best, simplest explanation of campaign funding...
Democrats have every opportunity to raise the same kind of cash that Republicans do. There are no industry assignments for donors to parties. Barack Obama is in the middle of a two-day trip to raise $15 million in California, mainly from the entertainment industry, for instance. Democrats have launched super-PACs and have their own sugar daddies like George Soros and Warren Buffett to match the Koch Brothers.
What happened to all the "they're busing in voters" and "dead people are voting" rhetoric on here from election night? When Walker won, it all magically disappeared. Or was it all just... the righties blowing their usual smoke?

Never mind. We all know the answer.
Well... I don't know, since I never posted anything like that. But if you use the search feature on 285 Bound, I think you can find the users who may have made those claims, and then you can ask them personally, either in the thread where they posted those comments or in a PM.
But "all" is a weasel word along with "righties" as it wasn't ALL anyone and not ALL righties. But you knew that, didn't you? And yet you attempt to group the conservative right into your false statement. And I thought you were smarter than that.
And maybe you would like to address the actual topic of this thread, or would you prefer to continue trying to deflect the subject? Maybe you have no answer?

When you beat someone in spite of their cheating, there's no reason to point out the cheating.

Yep, we beat 'em fair and square... (Of course, a 7-to-1 spending advantage sort of helped...) But, hey, we DID IT! Best state government our money could buy!

Lady Jazzer... considering how badly you did over the last 16 months obsessing over the Scott Walker recall, and considering how wrong you were about almost everything you said and predicted, I would tread lightly making when making statements about Romney. You're reputation is at stake.

Or, there's no reason to making up stuff about the election anymore once you've won. Was there ever ANY evidence that voters were bused in from out of state or that dead people voted?

I would think there would be enough panic on the part of WI Dems, that if there was some sort of cheating going on, then the Dems would find it.
And to the point some are attempting to make about the election being bought by the right, those people should blame thhe president and the DNC for the lack of help. President Obama's campaign pulled in about 60 million last month and nothing was put into the critical WI election. I think the administration knows they made a big mistake but just don't want to admit a strategic failure.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
