I think both sides look desperate to find an outrage when they use anything from a candidate's teen years as some sort of behavior that transfers to current times.
None of this 30+ year old nonsense will be part of any adult debate. IMO, the only factors that will mean squat this time are what they've done as adults That is, what's relevant to the job and what is their ideology regarding where they want to take the country.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
