Read that line again... "We don't have the special-interest and high-dollar donor advantage that Romney has. [/i][/b]". The Obama campaign certainly DOES have special-interests and high dollar donors. Let's start with unions. We got beat.
(my name)
For the first time in this campaign, we got beat in fundraising. The Romney campaign and the Republican Party raised more than $76 million last month, compared to our $60 million. We knew this moment would come when Romney secured the nomination. What happens next is up to you. Help close the gap right now -- make a donation of $3 or more. I want to be clear: We'll always have more people pitching in. We know that only 15 percent of Romney's May totals came from people giving less than $250, compared to 98 percent in that category for us. We don't have the special-interest and high-dollar donor advantage that Romney has. [/i][/b] Barack Obama has you, and we are bound and determined to fight back on behalf of a country where everyone gets a fair shot and a fair shake. From the beginning we've built this campaign together, from the bottom up. More people giving a little bit is the only way to compete with a few people giving a lot. So let's fight like hell and win this thing:
More coming soon,

P.S. -- Together, our team raised more than $60 million in May -- even more impressive when you hear that the average donation was about $55. Check out the rest of our numbers.
What about Obama bundlers...--Public-sector workers had a union membership rate (37.0 percent) more
than five times higher than that of private-sector workers (6.9
percent). (See table 3.)
--Workers in education, training, and library occupations had the
highest unionization rate, at 36.8 percent, while the lowest rate
occurred in sales and related occupations (3.0 percent). (See
table 3.)
--Black workers were more likely to be union members than were white,
Asian, or Hispanic workers. (See table 1.)
--Among states, New York continued to have the highest union membership
rate (24.1 percent) and North Carolina again had the lowest rate
(2.9 percent). (See table 5.)

How about other campaign funding sources?Obama campaign's latest list of current bundlers -- big donors who not only contribute themselves but go out and solicit additional donations for the president's re-election. There are now 534 of them, 90 more than three months ago. Together they've helped raise at least $106.4 million -- $32.2 million of it this quarter. That's roughly one-third -- and possibly more, since the campaign reports bundler fundraising only in ranges -- of the $350 million the Obama campaign and Democratic National Committee have taken in so far.
These latest bundler figures show that the wealthy, well-connected individuals who typically become bundlers are rallying to Obama's aid to a greater degree than they did in his first bid for the Oval Office.

I could go on, but there is an internet rule for thread topics... it's called "TLTR... To Long To Read." There are many more sources of campaign funding for Team Obama, the playing field is level, Citizens United is not a law for the GOP only and maybe the Obama campaign should consider if the contributions are getting slim... well... it could be that the American public is finally waking up to the facade that is Barack Obama.Priorities USA Action (super PAC)
UBS Americas Chairman Robert Wolf,
MF Global CEO Jon Corzine
Private equity magnate Deven Parekh
Goldmanite Bruce Heyman
Investment bankers Blair Effron, Brian Mathis Charles Meyer and Orin Kramer
All of whom bundled more than $500,000 on behalf of Obama.
While Obama does not have any bundlers who are registered lobbyists raising money for his re-election efforts, five bundlers who work for lobby shops have collected a minimum of $1.05 million for Obama and the DNC through the end of September. (These bundlers are not themselves registered to lobby.) And employees of lobbying firms who are not registered lobbyists have donated more than $80,000 to the Obama campaign, according to the Center's research.

The Internet. (and excepting donations from phony donors)
Democratic National Committee
The Obama's have benefited from millions of dollars in campaign funding from the likes of Anna Wintour and Tori Burch in the fashion industry,The Washington Post reports.
