God, one can only hope.... It's about time that the defense industry cut their lobbying, entertainment and vote-buying budgets and got less...while the rest of the budget got more.

Actually I agree that Defense and everything else needs to be gradually cut. You are wrong in your assumption though that the money cut can be spent on infrastructure. The money cut disappears as "deficit reduction", along with the union jobs for your buddies.

You know building the interstae highway system made our economy boom right? It's an investment, why do you think China is investing trillions in thier rail and highway systems, so the people can get around easier? No, its to get product to port fast. Its an investment you shortsighted knee jerk reactionary ignoramous
