Thousands of documents have been turned over....and yes to operation went south.....this probably isn't the first operation targeting the drug cartels, and I doubt it will be the last. And it failed. How that turned into a reason to go after Holder and by extension Obama seems more political than practical. But all the publicity surely has helped the drug cartels know what we are doing....its always good to alert your enemies to what you are doing. Maybe the documents the GOP is asking for could give the bad guys an even bigger heads up to what we have planned for them.
If you were one of the family memebers of Brian Terry, wouldn't you want to know who knew what when? What's the point of handing over some or most documents? Do you really think Holder would hand over documents that would show he was inept, dishonest, or even criminal? Of course not.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
Brian Terry would still be dead had there been no Fast and Furious...the drug cartels have no lack of guns....Using his death as an excuse for a political witch hunt is disgusting.

Isn't that why the left insists on background checks - to keep the guns out of the hands of the people who will misuse them or have shown that they are willing to violate the rights of others? What Holder's responsible for is subverting the laws and giving the guns to people who shouldn't have them, essentially having the federal government participate in straw purchases of guns. Straw purchases are still a bad thing in your mind, right?

Perhaps, just perhaps mind you, if Obama and his administration hadn't made the guns they were walking across the border a political tool to advance restricting the sale of guns beyond what exists now your allegations of political game playing might have some merit. But since they did do exactly that, it rings a little hollow, don't you think? What better way to convince the populace that we need more laws to stop the flow of guns from the US from entering Mexico than to walk a couple hundred of them across the border and then help the Mexican government "find" a large number of US weapons in the hands of the Mexican drug cartels, right?
