Suppose the Supremes overturn Obamacare, think Boehner, Reid, & Obama could create a new version in time for the election? One that would increase the lifetime limits for private insurance & force insurance companies to cover pre-existing conditions and a few other elements of the original plan?
Or will Barack just sulk in a corner and blame both Boehner and the Supremes?

Why in heavens name would Boehner partner with Reid, (add Pelosi) & Obama instead of waiting for the election and if Romney wins, then working out health care reforms. Sometimes I don't understand you at all?
Usually incumbent Congressmen like to bring something to show the voters in their district. Usually it is pork like a new weapons system being built, or a major bill being passed to improve the lot of Americans. American like individual parts of ObamaCare, and this would be a way to keep the parts intact.
But I can see your point, don't let Obama claim any accomplishments after his keystone piece of legislation is struck down.
