Many Americans may not be eligible for ACA coverage

30 Million Americans Are Not Eligible For Health Care Coverage Under ACA

For 30 million Americans, the cheers of the Democrat Party over today’s SCOTUS ruling are falling on deaf ears. The biggest loser in America today are the 30 million Americans who may not be eligible for new coverage under the ACA.

While the majority of President Obama’s supporters are rallying around today’s ruling, the Court struck down the ability of Obamacare to coerce state participation in the ACA’s expansion of Medicaid, a provision which was intended to cover up to 30 million currently uninsured Americans.

Colorado was one of the 30 states to sue the administration over ACA. Will Colorado opt in to participate in the ACA expansion of Medicaid? Unintended outcome?

Considering that you don't want ANYONE to be eligible for it, or get it, spare me your wingnut talking-points about the fact that a few might not qualify.

I'm totally for it. And I want everyone, right, left to take advantage of it. And nice deflection. Ignore the issue above.

I'm a programmer for a company that deals with medical industry consulting. Having the ACA declared constitutional assures me that I'll have a job until I retire. Go Obama.

Oh darn... you have no explanation for the topic of this thread. It probably doen't matter if anyone gets any coverage... as long as the left won!

There are parts of the ACA that need to be improved, tweaked, and/or changed......even Obama admitted that today....but we have a framework we can work with.....and the law stays. If it had been voted down by the Supreme Court we would be back to square one, and I truly believe it would be another decade or more before any president or congress would have the guts to tackle the problem of healthcare reform in this country. Instead of railing against the liberals.....or the Supreme Court, perhaps it is time the GOP bit the bullet and came up with positive ideas that they believe would make the law better, what they think should be removed, and what those portions removed would be replaced with. Like Roe v Wade......the law stands.....now deal with it and move forward.

If some people will fall through the cracks.....fill the cracks.

 The Republicans in Congress are scheduled to vote down ACA in July. Doubt they will get the 60 votes they need in the Senate however.

Exactly my point.....the GOP is so hell bent on punishing democrats they would vote down the bill while having NOTHING to replace it with. They don't even try to propose anything positive, they don't try to adjust the current bill into something they think is better.....nope, all they want to do is destroy the bill.....and to hell with those Americans who truly do benefit from it.
