If it had been voted down by the Supreme Court we would be back to square one, and I truly believe it would be another decade or more before any president or congress would have the guts to tackle the problem of healthcare reform in this country. Instead of railing against the liberals.....or the Supreme Court, perhaps it is time the GOP bit the bullet and came up with positive ideas that they believe would make the law better, what they think should be removed, and what those portions removed would be replaced with. Like Roe v Wade......the law stands.....now deal with it and move forward.
If some people will fall through the cracks.....fill the cracks.
The Republicans in Congress are scheduled to vote down ACA in July. Doubt they will get the 60 votes they need in the Senate however.
Exactly my point.....the GOP is so hell bent on punishing democrats they would vote down the bill while having NOTHING to replace it with. They don't even try to propose anything positive, they don't try to adjust the current bill into something they think is better.....nope, all they want to do is destroy the bill.....and to hell with those Americans who truly do benefit from it.
